Overview
Applicable's ADPS is a "shrink-to-fit" service designed to help organisations plan an effective deployment of Messaging, Collaboration and Advanced Collaboration solutions and includes a broad range of planning tools and services that help optimise the effectiveness of deployments to help lower the costs and adoption risks.
ADPS is designed to dovetails ours customer's collaboration strategy with technology through highly effective planning process for deployment. It provides a reliable, repeatable process from our consultants to conduct programmatic planning sessions.
Activities
A typical engagement commences with an information gathering session to understand business challenges; it then introduces customers to the recommended technologies, solutions and concepts and how it can be leveraged to tackle those business challenges. Our customers will further gain knowledge on how best to deploy solutions within their environment based upon best practice implementations.
Strategy Briefing Session (SBS) allows Applicable to understand the customer’s environment, deployment blockers and business drivers. Some specific scenarios as follows:
> Specific business challenges (i.e. process automation)
> Specific IT challenges (i.e. security, administration, capacity, compliance)
> Deployment issues
> Cultural adoption challenges
Architectural Design Session (ADS) introduces our customer to the technologies and processes necessary to deliver a successful deployment project or engagement. This again is an interactive session that includes the following:
> Demonstrates the high-level capability of the recommended technology to address the customer’s issues
> Provides a high-level roadmap for successful deployment planning.
> Other topics covered during the session are limited to high level discussions – for example designing architecture for the technical aspects of deployment such as Active Directory integration, Security, line of business application integration, data transfer, co-existence strategies, changes control process and infrastructure designs.
Deliverable
ADPS Engagement Summary provides a summary of the information uncovered during the engagement based on the required activities. It includes customer specifics, documents the main business process challenges and identifies the recommended process improvements for the customer to take at the end of the engagement. Our customers can use this document to engage internal stakeholders, partners and vendors to discuss the identified process improvements and proposal generation.
